Museum quality Victorian wax flower crown and matching bridal accessories. These Victorian wedding mementos have been preserved in a display case since the 1880s.

The flower crown consists of ivory wax buds and floral sprays atop a chartreuse wrapped wire frame interspersed with fabric leaves. Each bud and flower element is mounted on a thin adjustable wire. Two vines drop from each side of the crown and are decorated with buds, flowers, and leaves. The entire set includes a wedding cabinet card photo, two corsages, and matching earrings.

Condition

Excellent wearable condition with light patina. Vines are delicate and have a few additional breaks. Could use extra wire reinforcement before wearing for a ceremony. Crown has a very faint odor from storage and could use some airing out.
